Range Resources Corporation

Range Resources Corporation is an independent natural gas and oil company. 

The Company is engaged in the exploration, development and acquisition of primarily natural gas and oil properties, mostly in the Appalachian and Southwestern regions of the United States. 

It owns 2,688,000 gross (2,078,000 net) acres of leasehold, including 340,000 acres where it also owned a royalty interest. 

The Company has built a multi-year drilling inventory that is estimated to contain over 8,100 drilling locations, both proven and unproven. 

Its proved reserves consisted of 4.4 trillion cubic feet equivalent (Tcfe) of proved reserves, 80% natural gas, 49% proved developed, 85% operated and a reserve life of 22.3 years. 

Vanguard Natural Resources, LLC

Vanguard Natural Resources, LLC is a company focused on the acquisition and development of oil and natural gas properties in the United States. 

Vanguard owns a 100% controlling interest, through certain of its subsidiaries, in properties and oil and natural gas reserves located in four operating areas: the Permian Basin in west Texas and New Mexico; south Texas; the southern portion of the Appalachian Basin, primarily in southeast Kentucky and northeast Tennessee, and Mississippi. 

In addition, the Company owns an approximate 46.7% aggregate controlling interest through its subsidiary, in properties and oil and natural gas reserves located in the Permian Basin; the Big Horn Basin; the Williston Basin; and the Arkoma Basin. 

In 2011, the Company, and its wholly owned subsidiary Vanguard Permian, LLC, consummated the acquisition of producing oil and natural gas assets in the Permian Basin of West Texas. On December 1, 2011, Encore Energy Partners LP merged with its subsidiary.

Chesapeake Energy

Chesapeake Energy Corporation (Chesapeake) is a producer of natural gas and oil and natural gas liquids in the United States. 

Its owned interests in approximately 46,000 producing natural gas and oil wells that produced approximately 3 billion cubic feet of natural gas equivalent (bcfe) per day, 87% of which is natural gas. 

The Company operates in three segments: exploration and production; marketing, gathering and compression, and service operations, which include its wholly owned drilling and trucking operations. 

The Company focuses on discovering and developing unconventional natural gas and oil fields onshore in the United States, primarily in the Barnett Shale in the Fort Worth Basin of north-central Texas, the Haynesville and Bossier Shales in northwestern Louisiana and East Texas, the Fayetteville Shale in the Arkoma Basin of central Arkansas and the Marcellus Shale in the northern Appalachian Basin of West Virginia and Pennsylvania.
