Environmental Investment Partners (US and Europe) This US based investment company was created to invest in early stage Central European environmental projects (such as solar, wind, waste water, solid & liquid wastes, sustainable energy and recycling), and companies operating sustainably in all sectors of the economy (clean technology). EIP III's target investees usually have at least 2 years of operating experience and management with a strong track record of success and profitability. Given its focus on early stage and central European investments the EIP III investment company will invest € 0.1 mm to € 1.0 mm per project. EIP III often seeks local co-investors to invest alongside it for similar amounts. EIP is one of the few but increasing emerging investment funds that are dedicated to the environmental projects in Central Europe and Eastern Europe. Akula Energy Ventures (US and India) Akula Energy Ventures, LLC is an investment company focused on developing renewable energy projects around the world. Akula Energy Ventures invests in early-stage projects across the renewable energy spectrum, including solar, hydroelectricity and biofuels. Akula Energy Ventures has targeted investments and partnerships in the Northwest region of the United States and the Central West region of India, mainly into renewable infrastructure projects. BonVenture Management GmbH (Germany, Europe) BonVenture focuses on German-speaking countries (Germany, Austria and Switzerland). BonVenture supports projects in the start-up, early or expansion stage by providing them with equity, mezzanine financing or loans with or without collateral. Their focus is highly on ecological and businesses that can improve the environment. The criteria includes both traditional and non-traditional environmental related companies, for example; companies that are engaged in environmental protection such as forestry management, nutrition and species management and protection or soil protection, or agricultural products that can enhance the soil nutrition. BonVenture aims to invest between EUR 250,000 – 1 million per project, also together with co-investors.
